Founder story

We started because of one Saturday morning.

2023A hardware store in Klang

In 2023, our co-founder Asyraf was visiting his uncle's hardware store in Klang. It was 9am on a Saturday and his uncle was already two hours into a spreadsheet that wouldn't add up. SST was off by RM 12. The bill was due Monday.

We tried every cloud accounting tool. Some were too expensive. Some didn't do SST properly. Some had a UI that read like a tax form. None of them helped a 58-year-old shopkeeper actually run his business on a Saturday morning.

So we built BukuCloud. Cream backgrounds because spreadsheets are bright. Big serif headlines because numbers should feel like a ledger. Mono prices because RM 49 is a price, not a brand statement. And built from the bones for SST, MyInvois, and the way Malaysian businesses actually work.
